Fiji will host next year’s Miss Pacific Islands Pageant, marking the country’s return to the competition after a seven-year lapse.

The announcement was made by Minister for Local Government and Housing, Maciu Nalumisa during the media launch for the Miss Fiji and Miss Pacific Islands pageants.

Mr Nalumisa said the 2026 event would take place in Nadi from February 13-20.

Winners of the local pageants will compete for the Miss Fiji title in a one-week event that begins on December 8.

The 2025 Miss Fiji winner will then go on to represent the country in the Miss Pacific Islands pageant next year.

Hosting this prestigious event offers Fiji an opportunity to showcase its rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality.

It also serves as a platform to empower young women across the Pacific region, celebrating their intelligence, talent, and leadership.
