THE Fiji Times Ltd has reported exceptionally more news reports than the Fiji Sun.
This was revealed by the Media Watch Group media monitoring officer Moreen Vakaliwaliwa during the launch of the Media Watch Group 2018 media monitoring annual report in Suva yesterday.
The report showed that the Fiji Sun had more coverage on political stories than the Fiji Times publishing 828 stories compared to the 769 stories the Fiji Times had published last year.
However, Ms Vakaliwaliwa said there were a lot of political stories expected to be published last year because it was the election year for the country.
