Fiji Rugby today unveiled the new jersey design for the Fiji Airways Fijian Men’s and Fijiana 7s teams, introducing a refreshed and meaningful look that honours tradition, identity, and the spirit of the nation.
FRU said the new design carries deep cultural symbolism, celebrating the unity and values that define Fiji’s globally admired sevens teams.
Central to the jersey is the iconic triangular huddle—the formation players gather in before every match.
Their fingers point upward during this moment, symbolising togetherness, collective purpose, and reverence for God.
This powerful image has been woven into the pattern to reflect the spiritual grounding and sense of brotherhood and sisterhood that drive both teams.
The latest range also introduces green as a notable new element, said FRU.
“The new jersey is a powerful blend of meaning and modern design,” said Acting CEO Koli Sewabu.
“It represents who we are, what we stand for, and the traditions that guide our teams every time they step onto the field.”
The Fijian 7s and Fijiana 7s teams will debut the new jersey at the Dubai 7s, kicking off today.
