A dog at Musket Cove Island Resort and Marina is set to begin a new chapter after winning the hearts of guests and staff over the past year and a half.
In a social media post, the resort shared that “Steven,” a gentle and friendly dog who arrived unannounced about 18 months ago, quickly became part of the Musket Cove family.
Described as soft-natured and affectionate, Steven became a favourite among visitors, often greeting guests and making himself at home around the property.
The resort said one of its regular guests recently formed a special bond with the dog and offered him a permanent home on their farm in New Zealand.
After months of planning and consideration, Steven is now set to leave Fiji this week to begin his new life abroad.
“We will miss him and wish him well,” the resort said.
