Fiji impresses at 2025 National Club carnival

THE 2025 National Clubs Carnival – Aerobic Gymnastics Competition in Gold Coast has concluded, with Team Fiji proudly showcasing their talent and achieving strong rankings, medals, and special awards.

Board of Director of Gymnastics Federation Fiji, Maria Alvarado, praised the athletes for their commitment and results.

“Team Fiji athletes proudly represented the nation across multiple divisions, delivering outstanding performances and bringing home medals, top rankings, and special awards,” she said.

Notable Performances

In Level 3 (Ages 7–11) Individuals, Arsene de Luzuriaga posted 12.400 to finish 14th, while in the Multiples event, Evelyn Irava and Rhonda Rounds secured Bronze Medals with 12.850.

At Level 4 (Ages 7–11), Kesaia Sivo earned 13th place individually with 12.700, and later teamed with Unaisi Namuaira in the Multiples division, where they finished in the Top 6 with 12.400.

In Level 4 (Ages 12+), Karalaini Naituivau shone individually with 12.783, finishing 9th. She also paired with Maja Plinkert in the Multiples category, where they placed in the Top 6 on 12.000.

Level 5 (Ages 8–11) saw Lexi Millar finish 11th in Individuals with 13.166.

The Aero Dance Division One team comprising Evelyn Irava, Karalaini Naituivau, Unaisi Namuaira, and Kesaia Sivo impressed the judges with a lively routine, earning Silver Medals on 12.466.

In the Youth International Individual Women’s event, Lauren Pilla posted a strong 14.616 to finish 11th.

The Special Performance Award was presented to Karalaini Naituivau, Tirzah Helenani, Kesaia Sivo, Unaisi Namuaira, Jemesa Lau, Arsene de Luzuriaga, and Lindy Wilson for their inspiring performances and dedication.
