EXCITEMENT builds as the Fiji Golf Club sponsored stable-ford event begins today at the Fiji Golf course in Vatuwaqa.
With over 50 participants eager to compete, the stage is set for another fantastic year of golf competition.
Expressing enthusiasm for the new year, Fiji Golf Club manager Rizwan Ali reflects on the successes of 2025 and looks forward to an even better 2026.
“The sponsored stable-ford event will be a thrilling competition, featuring club members and other players vying for prestigious prizes,” said Ali.
Hoping for favorable weather, Ali encourages golfers to come out in full force to enjoy the sport and participate in the event.
He adds alongside the competition, the club has a lineup of events planned for the year, including maintenance projects, the opening of a Golf Pro-Shop, and renovations to enhance the overall experience for members and guests.
Anticipating an exciting year of competition, Ali mentions the upcoming Fiji Golf Club Summer Cup on February 7 as the first major tournament to look forward to.
The club is gearing up for a season filled with competitive golf and camaraderie.
