THE Fiji Football Association is likely to release the fixtures for the opening round of the Rewa Galaxy National Premier League this week.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal said they had sent out requests to book the venues for the matches.
“At the moment I have received no reply for the ground bookings so that is why the fixtures cannot be released,” Pal said.
“Once the booking confirmation comes then the fixtures will be released.”
The opening round of the competition is scheduled for the weekend of February 13-14. Northerners Dreketi will make its debut in the top flight. The side will be a threat to the seeded teams having upset star studded Lautoka 2-1 during the Courts Inter District Championship at Govind Park in Ba last year. Nadi will defend the title.
