The Fiji Football Association has held meetings with PacificAus Sports to see how the organisation could help the national team prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Bula Boys are set to play Malaysia in two warm-up games next month.
Fiji is grouped with New Zealand, New Caledonia, and Papua New Guinea for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Oceania qualifiers which will be held from March 13-30.
Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel said they had been talking with PacificAus Sports.
“We are working on it and will see how we can all benefit from it,” Patel said.
“That is what we will be doing with the national team before they depart for Qatar.
“We are working with them to see how we can get the team either to Melbourne or Brisbane to train.”
The winner of the Oceania Football Confederation qualifier has half a spot at the 2022 World Cup.
This means the champion will need to play the third placed team from the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) to book its place at football’s pinnacle event.
