The pools for the 2026 Rugby League World Cup have been confirmed — and the Vodafone Fiji Bati find themselves in the tournament’s feared “Pool of Death.”
Fiji has been grouped with defending champions Australia, powerhouse New Zealand, and the Cook Islands in Pool A, making their path to the knockout rounds one of the toughest in the competition.
The Bati have reached the quarterfinals in the last four Rugby League World Cups, but head coach Wise Kativerata and his squad will need to deliver their very best to keep that streak alive in 2026.
