Fiji defined as pro-business with service -oriented culture

Update: 4:51PM FIJI has a good English-speaking workforce, about 93 per cent literacy rate, says Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya.

Mr Koya highlighted to Australian businesses in Sydney, Australia yesterday, the snapshot of what Fiji could offer with their investment in the ICT sector.

“Fiji being the hub of the Pacific, has become the easiest and most cost-effective place to do business in the Pacific,” Mr Koya said.

He said Fiji had a service-oriented culture and was pro-business with consumer policies and legislations in place.

“In addition, Fiji is located in a convenient time-zone and has world-class IT infrastructure. With the recent launch of 4G+ network, Fiji is one of the premier countries in the region to introduce 4G+,” he added.
