The Fiji Deaf Rugby 7s team won two of its three pool games at the World Deaf Rugby 7s World Cup in Argentina yesterday.
After losing 24-5 to tournament favourites Wales in their opening match, the side bounced back to register two wins.
They thrashed the Barbarians 31-nil before defeating Japan 28-12.
The Fiji Deaf Rugby 7s played their Cup quarter-final against South Africa at 5.40 this morning.
In the other quarter finals, favourites played Argentina, Japan took on England while the Barbarians faced Australia.
