The Vodafone Fiji Bati side created a huge upset this evening after defeating the Papua New Guinea Kumuls 43-16 on their home ground during their Pacific Nations Cup clash.
Maika Sivo, Kurt Donoghoe, Tui Kamikamica, Caleb Navale, and Jason Qereqere all scored a try for Fiji.
The Kumuls and Bati will meet again next Sunday to battle it out for the Pacific Cup final.
Fiji will be hoping to welcome back Sunia Turuva after the premiership-winning winger was sidelined with a calf injury, according to the NRL.
