National airline Fiji Airways was awarded the Oceania’s Best Airline Website for 2025 at the World Tech Travel Awards, in recognition of its commitment to digital innovation and providing seamless online experience for customers.
World Travel Tech Awards celebrates excellence in travel technology across the global aviation, tourism and hospitality sectors.
Fiji Airways topped the category ahead of fellow nominees Qantas and Air New Zealand.
“This award highlights the significant advancements we’ve made to the Fiji Airways website over the past year, ensuring a faster, more intuitive and more personalised experience for our guests,” Fiji Airways chief sales and marketing officer Kamal Haer said.
Ms Haer, who oversees e-commerce at the airline, said those improvements supported their wider digital strategy to make planning and booking travel with the airline as effortless as possible.
She said their kept the customer at the heart of all technology improvements.
Recent enhancements include:
– the introduction of a new layer of AI personalisation to Fare Price Discovery on fijiairways.com – gives returning travellers a more tailored booking journey; and
– expanded personalisation for travellers in key inbound markets, who now receive fare options shaped by their behaviour and intent – reducing booking friction and making it easier to secure the right fare at the right moment. The national airline stated this recognition followed a period of strong digital performance for the airline as it continued to expand its global footprint.
