Fiji Airways has issued a travel alert advising passengers that temporary airspace closures in parts of the Gulf and Middle East region may affect onward and connecting flight schedules.
In a statement, the airline said guests connecting via Fiji Airways to destinations impacted by the closures could experience delays, cancellations or schedule changes on their onward flights.
Passengers are being urged to check the status of onward or connecting flights directly with the operating carrier
They are urged to follow airline guidance on rebooking, refunds or alternative travel arrangements and ensure contact details are up to date with all airlines on their booking to receive timely notifications
Fiji Airways said it is closely monitoring the evolving situation and will continue to keep customers informed of any changes to Fiji Airways–operated services.
The airline thanked passengers for their understanding as regional travel conditions remain fluid and subject to change.
