The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team has announced their squad for the upcoming HSBC SVNS Dubai 7s tournament, with the return of Ratu Sakiusa Vatunitu Siqila and Waisea Nacuqu adding experience to the team.
The squad also includes seasoned players like Terio Tamani, Pilipo Bukayaro, Jeremaia Matana, Joseva Talacolo, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Ilikimi Torosi Naruma Vunaki, and Alusio Rauto Vakadranu, who will provide strength in the forward positions.
In the backline, George Bose, Vuiviwa Naduvalo, and Ratu Manueli Nete Maisamoa will bring speed and agility to the team.
Apete Narogo, a 23-year-old player from Ubuntu, will make his international debut for Fiji at the Dubai 7s after impressing at the Ignite 7s tournament in New Zealand earlier this month.
The team will begin their Dubai 7s campaign against Argentina at 9.10pm on the 29th of this month.
They will then take on South Africa at 12.16am the following day and play France in their last pool match at 4.12am.
They are scheduled to depart for Dubai tomorrow in preparation for the tournament.
