REGISTRATION for this year’s Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants (FICA) Annual Congress is expected to open in the coming weeks following its official launching at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva yesterday.
At the launch of the accounting fraternity’s apex annual event, FICA president Wiliki Takiveikata said it served as a platform for meaningful dialogue and exchange of knowledge and ideas.
“This year’s annual congress promises to be an exciting event with an impressive line-up of distinguished speakers, engaging topics and panel discussions that will elevate the event for all the delegates.
“Our theme this year is ‘Shaping Fiji for Tomorrow’s Challenges and Opportunities’ and the event this year will be at the Crowne Plaza from June 6-7.
“We look forward to hearing their (speakers) insights and ideas on how we can deal with challenges and capitalise on the opportunities,” Mr Takiveikata said.
He acknowledged the support from the sponsors of this year’s event, with Asco Motors and Vodafone Fiji Ltd as platinum sponsors, together contributing a total of $120,000.
“To our platinum sponsors Asco Motors and Vodafone Fiji Ltd, we are grateful for your ongoing support of this premier event.
“Asco Motors became one of our major sponsors last year and the institute is deeply thankful for their continued support by returning as a major sponsor this year.
“Thank you to Vodafone for your ongoing support as a platinum sponsor over the years and again this year, contributing to the success of the past congress.”
The FICA Congress 2025 will feature three sessions, each focused on distinct topics that are relevant to businesses and the economy.
Each session will include panel discussions that bring together industry experts to provide their perspectives while engaging in constructive conversations.
