Festival to foster cultural exchange and understanding

The European Film Festival will be featured in the Friendly North for the first time ever on Friday.

It is a public event open to all and free of charge.

Through the power of film, European Union ambassador to the Pacific Barbara Plinkert said they hope to foster cultural exchange and understanding.

“Also share the cinematic treasures of Europe with our local Fijian audience,” she said.

The festival’s curated program will feature 10 captivating films.

The film festival will be held this Friday and Saturday at Damodar Cinema in Labasa.
