Update: 4:25PM KING and queen contestants at the Vodafone Festival of the Friendly North received first hand information today on how sugar is produced.
The contestants were taken on a tour of the 100-year old Labasa Mill in three groups and educated on how it worked to produce sugar.
The contestants were briefed by the mill’s general manager Christopher Karia before they proceeded on their tour of the mill.
Bollywood Night will be held from 7pm to 9pm today, including the crowning of Mr Friendly North and Mr Personality.
