The Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF) has pledged $10,000 towards the 2025 Women Invigorating the Nation (WIN) Convention.
FCEF board president Vinay Narsey announced the pledge at the closing of the two-day 2024 WIN Convention at the GPH in Suva on Saturday night.
He said delegates at this year’s convention all championed the course for women empowerment – “spending the past two days with each other and sharing different learnings from each other”.
Women Entrepreneurs Business Council (WEBC) and WIN 2024 committee chairperson Sharyne Fong said next year’s convention was scheduled for March 28-29. She invited women to sign up as a member of WEBC.
“I suggest you do register as there are so many opportunities for you to learn and grow and develop your business and careers,” Ms Fong said.
“WEBC is not only for entrepreneurs, it is also for other working women not only in the corporate field but across all fields and sectors, including CSO and NGOs, and the public sector.”
She said the event was being held in March because it is the national women’s month.
Patricia Naisara has been invited to be the master of ceremony for the fourth consecutive convention. A total of 220 delegates attended this year’s conference.
