THE Fiji Fashion Week (FJFW) 2025 was officially launched over the weekend at the Novotel Suva Lami Bay Hotel.
The event marked the beginning of a new season expected to introduce fresh faces and bold, innovative design concepts to the Fijian fashion scene.
Speaking at the launch, FJFW director Ellen Whippy expressed her gratitude to long-time supporters and shared the importance of continued sponsorship in sustaining the event’s success.
“No fashion week in the world can run without sponsors,” she said.
“Fiji Fashion Week boasts that we have had the same sponsors for the past 18 years.”
Several distinguished guests attended the launch, including Barbara Plinkert, the European Union Ambassador to Fiji, New Zealand High Commissioner Charlotte Darlow, and Brian Jones, the British High Commissioner to Fiji.
