The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua ended their 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific home campaign in emphatic fashion, overpowering the Western Force 38-7 at a sun-soaked Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Playing in front of a fired-up home crowd, the Drua put on a dominant performance from start to finish, scoring five tries in a match that showcased their trademark flair, physicality, and pride.

Captain Tevita Ikanivere, possibly playing his final home game for the franchise, led from the front as the Drua tore through the Force defence with powerful carries, slick handling, and punishing defence.

The Fijian side-controlled territory and possession throughout, turning pressure into points with clinical efficiency.

Tries came from halfback Philip Baselala, two from robust Elia Canakaivata and one each from departing players of Iosefo Masi and Selestino Ravutaumada.

Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and substitute Caleb Muntz added conversions, guiding the Drua to a commanding win.

The Western Force struggled to gain any foothold in the game, managing just a single converted try in the opening minutes.

With emotions running high in what was a farewell match for several players, the Drua delivered a performance full of heart and hunger.

The win gives the Drua a strong finish to their home season, with the team and supporters left hoping it’s not the final chapter for some of their beloved stars.

The Drua’s last game of the season is against the Reds on May 31 starting at 9.35pm.
