Fans encouraged to come in Ba colours

BA football executives are calling on supporters to wear their colours and show strong support ahead of the first round of the Extra Premier League this Sunday.

Fans are being encouraged to turn up in full Ba colours when Ba FC hosts Nadroga FC at Govind Park at 3pm.

The Men-in-Black have made major investments into their campaign this season, bringing in several high-profile signings from other districts, including players from Nigeria.

The team will also begin the new season under a fresh coaching setup.

Meanwhile, Nadroga heads into the match rebuilding after losing several key players, relying mainly on homegrown talent for the season opener.

Ba officials are urging fans to buy and wear the official Ba fan jerseys, now on sale at the Ba Football head office and at the stadium gate on match day.

Adult jerseys are priced at $40, while children’s jerseys cost $35.

In other round one matches, Labasa takes on Nasinu at 1.30pm at Subrail Park tomorrow.

In matches on Sunday, Navua hosts Nadi at 3pm at the Uprising Sports Complex, Ba battles Nadroga at 4R Stadium, Govind Park while Rewa takes on Tailevu Naitasiri at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
