Now based in Calia, Navua, Qarua has transitioned into construction work but continues to lace up his boots for various masters teams.

“That victory meant everything to us,” Qarua recalls.
“We were the underdogs, but we believed in ourselves, and I was proud to play my part as goalkeeper for my home team.”
