Expatriate takes up the role of Fiji Museum CEO

Armando Lowe has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Museum.

The appointment comes after an organizational review and restructure of the Fiji Museum undertaken in 2024 by Grant Thornton.

Mr Lowe has been the Manager City Arts at Wellington City Council in New Zealand.

“The Board is thrilled to recruit such a highly respected museum professional to take on the newly created position of CEO and lead the development of our national museum as we progress the vision of our Strategic Plan,” said Kate Vusoniwailala, Chair of the Fiji Museum Board of Trustees.

Mr Lowe also said he was “deeply honoured” to take up the role.

He started in the role Tuesday this week.
