Two senior staff members of the National Fire Authority (NFA) were farewelled by the organisation at their headquarters last week, marking the end of an era of dedicated service.
Manager of Human Resources and Corporate Service, Mileta Seniroqa, and Sub Officer (SO) Special Projects, Joji Duikoro, were the honorees of the event, attended by senior staff from NFA divisions across the country.
The farewell ceremony was graced by the presence of NFA Board Chairman John O’Connor, NFA Chief Executive Officer Puamau Sowane, NFA Chief Fire Officer Qionilau Moceitai, and other members of the senior management, operations, and corporate staff.
“… it is not an easy task for me to say goodbye to people whom I know sacrificed a lot of quality family time for the organization. Today is both a special and sad occasion for the NFA family as we bid farewell to two long-serving staff members,” Mr Sowane said.
While acknowledging the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one for the departing duo Mr Puamau said, “We are particularly saddened to farewell Mrs Seniroqa and Mr Duikoro after decades of hard work, dedication, and devotion to the fire service and the NFA family.”
The NFA family expressed gratitude for the remarkable contributions of both retirees and wished them well in their future endeavors, acknowledging their legacy of service and commitment to the National Fire Authority.
