Education leaders attended a two-day workshop last week aimed at strengthening school management, policy implementation, and student-focused initiatives.
Opened by Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro, the AFEP 2026 Capacity Building and National Education Policy Awareness Workshop also brought together heads of schools, divisional and district education officers.
Mr Radrodro acknowledged the support of the Australian government and the Australia-Fiji Education Program (AFEP) in strengthening Fiji’s education system, and thanked Fiji Platform Support Services for funding the workshop.
Held at the Studio 6 in Suva, the workshop introduces 24 key policies, including the Teacher Remuneration Policy, Student Progression and Retention Policy, and Customer Service Policy, aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, and quality education across all schools.
