Love is supposedly in the air on Valentine’s Day every year.
Whatever that means for you!
It is supposedly an emotional journey that couples around the world embark on.
Yesterday was that day, when the profile of this special day was raised.
However, even if you did not spend yesterday embracing the notion of love, what it means to you that is, perhaps it would have been an opportunity to experience what it meant to others.
It is a day when many people are supposed to be inspired by a myriad of emotions, and many will do something extra special for a loved one.
It is difficult to shrug aside the fact that love overwhelms people and they embrace that very special emotional aspect of life.
When you think about it, love is supposed to inspire hope and inch out all the trimmings of joy in a couple, and for many people, nurture a sense of appreciation of one another.
Let’s face it, love is something to be celebrated.
Should it really only be restricted to lovers though?
Or couples?
Let’s consider the notion that love transcends every demarcation line.
In our context, let’s consider ourselves fortunate that we live in a multi-racial country.
We may have gone past this important day, however, we should see Valentine’s Day as a means to nurture an appreciation of others, and love being the key word here.
When we cast aside every imaginary demarcation line and embrace that very special word in its entirety, we may get an overwhelming sense of purpose and, hopefully, discover the true value of this special word.
So, in saying that, perhaps we should throw a line to the powers that be, and perhaps suggest that they accept a dose of love.
It may be something we all need right now given the fiery start in the House.
Hopefully this thing called love may allow us all to unite for a positive future for us all.
In fact, we probably need that right now as we continue our journey past the General Election 2022.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could all love one another, understand each other, and actually work for the betterment of our nation, raising our living standards, meeting expectations, and charting a path forward with great confidence?
Let’s spread the word of love, and stretch that experience across to cover others who need love right now.
After all, shouldn’t love be shared?
When you think about it though, love really should be celebrated every day.
