Former Ratu Kadavulevu School under-18 rep Solomoni Naiduki is known for being a powerhouse centre with excellent finishing abilities.

He was reportedly spotted by Raiders’ scouts on a tour to Australia with the Junior Bati, but was ultimately signed by the Eels.

In his time with RKS, he was touted as one of the best finishers in recent years.

The Tailevu native is playing in the New South Wales Cup for the Parramatta Eels as he continues on his path to the National Rugby League (NRL) and the Fiji Bati.

During the NRL trial match last weekend, the Eels were defeated by the Dragons 22-26. Naiduki scored his first try in the 44th minute for Parramatta Eels.

Olympic Games gold medallist Iosefo Baleiwairiki Masi also made his Cowboys debut on Saturday against South Sydney Rabbitohs in a trial match at Barlow Park.

Masi was named in the 22-man squad, and lined-up on the wing alongside Laitia Moceidreke, who is also of Fijian heritage.
