FIGURINES made in the likeness of former Swire Shipping Fijian Drua co-captain Tevita Ikanivere, Frank Lomani, and Selestino Ravutaumada were launched by the club and Mogul Visual Solutions.

The figurines, ranging from bobbleheads to key tags have featured them on what has been regarded as a pioneering collaboration for player merchandising in Fiji.

The three featured players will also receive royalties from every item sold in what will be a way in which they could benefit financially off the field.

Former Drua captain Ikanivere said he didn’t fathom being featured on a product made in his likeness.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that one day, toys would be made in my likeness. It’s truly an honour to see our faces represented like this in Fiji,” Ikanivere said.

“This is a wonderful gift for the fans, especially the children.”

Drua co-captain Frank Lomani expressed his appreciation at the creative energy exerted into making the figurines.

“I’ve only seen this done overseas so to be able to get it here in Fiji, it is quite massive for us,” Lomani said.

Speaking on the launch of these products, MOGUL Visuals Solutions director Ritesh Chauhan acknowledged the joint venture forged between them and the Motibhai Group.

The Motibhai Group’s Prouds stores nationwide are selling the official licensed bobbleheads and keytags.

“This is an exciting time for us as we launch these collectable items. Working with the Motibhai Group, we wanted to find a way to connect fans more closely with the players, and what better way to do so than with bobbleheads and key tags,” Chauhan said in a press release shared by the Fijian Drua.

Meanwhile, the bobbleheads are sold at $34 each and key tags at $19.50 each.
