‘Dream big, work hard’

As children across Fiji celebrated Palm Sunday in their respective churches today, Swire Shipping Fijian Drua head coach Mick Byrne offered some words of encouragement, urging them to dream big and work hard.

“I just love the spirit of the kids in Fiji, just keep the spirit and keep enjoying your life,” Byrne said.

Addressing parents, Byrne emphasised the importance of nurturing children’s aspirations “Message to all parents out there, to keep encouraging your kids to dream big and keep helping them strive for their dreams,” Byrne said.

Byrne remains optimistic about Fiji’s future, highlighting the country’s remarkable spirit and potential.

“This country has a magnificent spirit with magnificent future and we have to keep our kids dreaming to be big and the energy they have and the excitement they have is inspiring,” he added.

The coach encouraged parents to help their children succeed.

“Just keep helping your kids achieve their dreams because they will achieve their dream,” Byrne concluded.
