Black armbands were worn by the Australian Diamonds and New Zealand Silver Ferns teams in their second 2025 Constellation Cup match last night in tribute to the late former national netball player and coach Unaisi Rokoura.
This was further highlighted by the commentator of the televised match on Fox Netball who mentioned the connection she shared with both teams leading to their tribute to her last night.
Rokoura passed away over the weekend after being swept away by strong water currents while searching for freshwater mussels in Navuso near Nausori.
