Designers showcase art on the runway

Eleven designers sent designs down the runway during the Fiji Fashion Week 2023 Resort Luxe Show at the Vodafone Arena, at Laucala Bay, Suva, on Saturday.

The show was opened by the well-established Suva designer Samson Lee Fiji’s Loloma collection.

Next came Temesia.Co by Temesia Tuicaumia, followed by Lavalani Designs, Hupfield Hoerder, Sugarose, Elaradi by Sydney-based Fijian designed Laisiasa Davetawalu, JS Designs, indigenous American designer Helen Oro, Tracey Ann Farrington, and Epeli Tuibeqa’s Kui Viti.

Sydney’s Daniel Avakian closed the show with his collection that included a $30,000 dress, that was an order from Rolls Royce.
