STRATUM Construction Rewa FC delivered a dominant display to defeat Global Care Suva FC 4-0 in their Extra Premier League Round 16 encounter at Churchill Park yesterday.
The Delta Tigers took control early and went into the halftime break with a 1-0 advantage after Josaia Sela found the back of the net.
Rewa returned with greater intensity in the second spell, extending their lead through Asivorosi Rabo before Semi Matalau added a third to put the contest beyond Suva’s reach.
Substitute Neemish Prasad completed the convincing victory with the fourth goal, capping off an impressive all-round team performance.
The result earned Rewa all three competition points and provided a timely confidence boost ahead of their OFC Men’s Champions League campaign, which begins at Churchill Park next weekend.
Rewa controlled possession for much of the match, creating several scoring opportunities while limiting Suva’s attacking threats to record a deserved clean sheet in front of their home supporters.
