A 28-year-old man from Sigatoka died in a car crash along the Queens Highway yesterday afternoon.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the victim’s vehicle crashed into another car at about 4pm near Ciriwai settlement.
She said the victim was travelling with three passengers from Sigatoka to the Nadi airport.
“It is alleged he failed to negotiate a bend and went to the opposite land resulting in the accident,” she said. The second vehicle was driven by a 26-year-old man from Rakiraki.
All victims were rushed to the Nadi Hospital for treatment.
