Heavyweight boxer Semi Dauloloma is set to challenge title holder James Singh for the Boxing Commission of Fiji Heavyweight title at the Bluewater Boxing Promotion at Lawaqa Park tomorrow.
Dauloloma stresses the need for unwavering focus in the ring, warning that a momentary lapse could be disastrous.
He’s confident in his training and new techniques, viewing pressure as a motivating force.
Dauloloma plans to exhaust Singh’s energy if he starts aggressively or adapt if Singh employs a smarter strategy.
He respects Singh’s contributions to Fiji boxing and anticipates a thrilling fight.

In other matches, Jr Binnu Singh will face Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF Australasian featherweight title, veteran Savenaca Naliva will clash with Sikeli Senidoko in cruiserweight, and Ronald Naidu will compete against Rakuro Daunivavana.
“My training is going well at the moment learning new techniques and style, which will keep me stay sharp and fit through the fight coming up,” said Dauloloma.
“A lot of pressure coming in, but the positive kind of pressure that keeps me moving forward and never give up in this big fight.
Dauloloma expresses his hunger and readiness to claim the title, stating that he is prepared to drain Singh’s energy and empty his tank in the ring.
“If his going to play pressure in the first round, I will drain out all his energy and empty his tank, and if his going to play smart then may the best man win,” he added.
He acknowledges Singh’s preparation for the fight and respects his contributions to Fiji boxing over the years.
“I respect what he did to Fiji boxing for many years back, a good friend of mine but when it’s come to businesses, we both like a lion hungry and hunting for his prey.”
Dauloloma calls upon all fans to come out in numbers to support him in what he believes will be the best fight of the year.
Meanwhile in other interesting fights, main bout sees homeboy Junior Binnu Singh taking on Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF (World Boxing Foundation) Australasian featherweight title.
