FOLLOWING concerns regarding the leadership of the Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL), the organisation has issued an official statement confirming Apenisa Dansey as its Chairman.
The press release emphasised, “Mr Dansey’s appointment is fully endorsed and recognized by the FNRL. He is the sole authorized chairman acting on behalf of the organisation.”
The statement further clarified that all official business dealings, correspondence, and representations related to the FNRL must receive direct approval from chairman Dansey through the institution’s formal communication channels.
The FNRL warned that any third-party engagements, claims, representations, or negotiations conducted without the Chairman’s approval will be deemed null and void and will not be recognized by the organization.
The FNRL also urged all stakeholders and the public to verify any information regarding the organization through its official communication channels to avoid misinformation.
