Tropical Disturbance TD03F remains slow moving near Solomon Islands and also remains poorly defined.
Fiji Met states two additional low-pressure centres are influencing conditions in the region.
One lies southwest of TD03F, while another is positioned just west of the Fiji Group and also southwest of TD03F.
The weather office states in its 5-Day TC outlook that these low-pressure systems, together with TD03F, are expected to consolidate into a single low-pressure system over the next couple of days, with the potential for further development.
However, the likelihood of the system intensifying into a tropical cyclone remains low.
For Sunday, 14 December, TD03F is expected to remain within the designated monitoring area, with a low potential of developing into a tropical cyclone.
By Wednesday, the potential for tropical cyclone development is still rated as low.
Authorities will continue to closely monitor the situation and advise the public to stay updated through official weather bulletins as conditions evolve.
