CUVU College and Sigatoka Methodist High School were respectively crowned the boys and girls winners of the Nadroga-Navosa Zone Coca-Cola Games at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka yesterday.

Cuvu College won 23 gold medals ahead of Sigatoka Methodist and Sigatoka Andhra Sangam College.

Sigatoka Methodist successfully defended the girls title.

Thirteen (13) records were broken yesterday.

Nadroga-Navosa Zone manager Arvind Narayan said the overall medal tally was spread across the participating schools.

He said 23 records were set during the two days.

“Cuvu College has made a comeback this year,” Narayan said.

Meanwhile, Penijamini Nasorowale of Sigatoka Methodist High School won the best male athlete award while Meresalala Tuicakau of Nasikawa Vision College won the best female award.
