The digital transition took a fairly upscaled and fast paced move in the emergence of covid-19.

An opinion piece shared by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) stated that “The COVID-19 crisis has accelerated digitalisation processes in both services and manufacturing in most countries, albeit at varying speeds, triggered by the requirements for social distancing and other COVID-19-related regulations imposed by governments around the world, and by changing consumer demand throughout the pandemic”.

As restrictions were mandated to help contain the virus, organisations were faced with the issue of how to continue business within the paradigms as stipulated by the new restrictions.

Social distancing, restrictions on the number of people within a certain space and the need to prohibit contact drove organisations to seek solutions.

TOPEX 2022 will feature four key speakers sharing how their organisations embraced technological platforms to allow for work to continue in the face of COVID-19.
