After reading heart wrenching stories of Fijians in The Fiji Times who are suffering as a result of COVID-19, Jackson Tuvici started the Veilomani drive aimed at assisting these families.
The drive involved people of Vanua Levu who would like to donate food items and baby stuff to families who are facing difficulties in lockdown areas of Viti Levu.
Mr Tuvici who is the owner owns Black Pebble Visuals visited Labasa Town administrator Doreen Robinson this morning and asked for her support.
“So she has allowed people to drop off donated items at the Civic Centre starting today and after reading all those stories in The Fiji Times, I was moved to help out,” he said.
“We are mainly looking at food items, diapers, milk and other basic needs for families in locked down areas.
“People can start dropping off their donated items at civic centre in Labasa and we’d appreciate everyone’s help.”
