Officers who are part of the batch 01/2020 basic recruits course and officers attending the constables qualifying course will march out of the Police Academy in Nasova today to assist with operations on the front line.
This is the clarification given by Police Commissioner Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho to this newspaper today.
He said until the present COVID-19 situation normalised, those attending those courses would then return to the academy to complete their modules.
“Officers were briefed on the situation and operational needs and the importance of adhering to the Ministry of Health advisories,” Brig-Gen Qiliho said.
