The cancellation of all domestic and international flights has been extended to Sunday, May 9.
A statement from Fiji Airways stated that domestic flights provided by Fiji Link and international repatriation flights provided by Fiji Airways have been cancelled until then.
In a statement issued earlier this week, the airline assured customers who had been impacted by the cancellation that their bookings were safe.
The airline had stated that it would hold the amount paid by customers for all unused flights in credit for future travel until December 31, 2022.
Fiji Airways had also stated earlier this week that dedicated international freighter services would continue to ensure vital export and import supply chains for the island nation remained intact.
