THE ten FMF Bula Festival contestants face their first public judging tonight at Nadi’s Koroivolu Park.

Bula Events Group director Alan Kumar said the week’s events would feature a private judging and three public judgings on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

He said members of the public have been taking advantage of the numerous food stalls and displays at the park.

“We’ve seen the turnout from Sunday,” Mr Kumar said.

“It’s growing and we always anticipate that the first two days will be quiet. Even last night there was a huge turnout. Tomorrow (today) is Bollywood Night sponsored by Magic Land Rights and the High Commission of India, and we’re anticipating the High Commissioner to be the chief guest.”

Mr Kumar said Thursday’s program would feature a baby show at the Nadi Civic Centre during the day, while the Jacks of Fiji-sponsored “Bogi ni iTaukei” would be the main event of the evening.

“Friday is the LICI-sponsored Nadi’s Got Talent night and Saturday will feature the crowning night.”
