While the pandemic has hindered local musicians from performing, Fiji’s vude prince Savuto Vakadewavosa has taken a new approach to make money.
Thanks to the new Twitter space feature on social media, Vakadewavosa will be using this platform to try and raise money.
“I have been rehearsing for over a month now and I am so excited to perform for my supporters, for all Fijians here and around the world,” he said.
Vakadewavosa said money raised from the concert would be used to purchase everyday necessities to assist families affected by the economic impacts of the pandemic.
“It’s the least I can do to help with all that’s happening in our beloved Fiji today.
“I urge everyone to tune in for a great evening of music. I will also be performing an exclusive sneak peek into my upcoming album for everyone to enjoy.
“Music is healing, it’s food for our hearts, no matter what you may be going through. Good music soothes the soul.
“I would like to thank the Twitter space jam hosts, Dexter Tee, Dan Paris and Henessy, for inviting me and allowing a space as such to assist artists in Fiji.” Fijians can tune in for free on Twitter and Facebook and fakawela can be done via:
