THE Consumer Council of Fiji has expressed grave concerns over the numerous consumer complaints on the poor services provided by Sky Pacific under its new owners Digicel.
While the council welcomed the introduction of an upgraded Sky Pacific box with new features, its purpose was defeated when subscribers couldn’t access their favourite channels which was not synchronised with what’s appearing on the TV against the program guide.
“Poor picture quality, ongoing outages in some areas in Vanua Levu, programs not matching the menu, customers unable to use the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) to select programs and the timing of programs, continue to haunt Sky Pacific subscribers,” the council said. Questions sent to Digicel on the issue remain unanswered when this issue went to press.
