A concerned mother has reported an alleged incident involving her daughter, a tertiary student, who was reportedly being watched by an adult male while changing in her dormitory on Tuesday.

The matter has been formally reported to police at the Totogo Police Station, she said on the condition of anonymity.

According to the mother, the man was allegedly seen loitering near bathroom and residential areas before following her daughter to her room.

She claims the individual was captured on security footage behaving suspiciously and allegedly spying on her daughter while she was changing.

The mother has raised concerns that despite the incident being reported, the man was again seen on the premises yesterday, causing distress and fear for her daughter’s safety.

“I am extremely worried for my child and other young women who may be at risk,” the mother said, calling on authorities to act swiftly to ensure the safety of students.

Questions sent to Police on Tuesday and yesterday remained unanswered
