In a bid to enhance user experience, the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) has revamped the login process for its free mobile app, “LICI FIJI.”
The update eliminates the need for usernames and passwords, streamlining access through a simple email ID and One Time Password (OTP) verification system.
LICI Fiji general manager Pradeep Shenoy said the updated version of the app is simplified and very user friendly.
“The log in process of the free mobile app for LICI customers, LICI FIJI, has recently been simplified and made very user friendly,” Mr Shenoy said during LICI’s 68th anniversary celebrations in its Suva head office yesterday.
“The customers will be able to get a host of information about their policy,” he said.
“This includes the date of start of policy, Plan Term, Sum Assured, Premium Amount, Date up to which premium has been paid, details of unpaid premium (if any), loan availed/ available, nomination details, date of survival benefit, maturity claim due and many more.”
Customers can now effortlessly view a comprehensive range of policy information at their convenience and any outstanding dues.
The app also features a tool to generate quotes for any of LICI’s 13 plans and provides detailed plan features.
Mr Shenoy also announced the completion of digitising 70,000 physical files, encompassing over 3.5 million pages.
The massive data conversion aims to address previous service inefficiencies, enabling customers to access their information and manage services from anywhere without the constraints of physical paperwork.
The dual efforts of simplifying app access and digitising records underscore LICI’s commitment to improving customer service and operational efficiency in the digital age and part of their 68th anniversary celebration this month.
