Company announces first beach club for guests

THE launch of a new island day retreat is expected to provide guests with a romantic getaway.

South Sea Cruises yesterday announced the launch of its Malamala Beach Club which is scheduled to welcome its first guests in mid-2017.

Its chief executive officer Brad Rutherford said the Malamala Beach Club would be an exceptional addition to their portfolio being the first island beach club experience in Fiji.

“And we look forward to welcoming guests later this year,” he said.

He said Malamala Beach Club, which was Fiji’s first island beach club, would offer a brand new contemporary style offering fine cuisine and bar offerings, exceptional service and secluded tropical ambience.

“Accessible by private jetty, guests will be able to move easily from the boat to the club via jetty without even getting their feet wet.”

Describing some of the features of the club, Mr Rutherford said guests at Malamala Beach Club would enjoy the large infinity-edge pool looking out onto the crystal-clear waters and coral reefs.

He said with exceptional snorkeling in the surrounding reef, plus complimentary non-motorised water sports there was plenty to do.

Just 30 minutes Denarau Marina, Fiji’s primary transport hub and the gateway to Fiji’s beautiful Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands, Malamala Beach Club is also the perfect venue for a wedding.

With a chapel on site this is the perfect place for a bespoke celebration. From corporate events to intimate gatherings for smaller groups, their experienced team will ensure your next event is perfect in every way.
