Republic of Fiji Military Forces Commander Major General Jone Kalouniwai says the group of officers who were responsible for the grounding of the RFNS Puamau near Fulaga, Lau, will be dealt with appropriately.
He said the decision on which type of disciplinary measure would be made by the Fiji Navy Commander.
“We will go through the disciplinary process and it will go through the Fiji Navy commander and he has the powers to conduct which disciplinary action they would take,” he said.
“That is the process that we have to follow.
“There are certain punishments and charges that will be laid in accordance with the fault that happened with Puamau.”
