The Coalition Government is struggling to be in Government, says FijiFirst Parliamentarian Joseph Nand.
In his reply to the President’s speech, Mr Nand said this has shown through indecisive decisions that are destroying Fiji faster than any cancerous disease.
“The Government’s hasty and impartial decision is making our people to struggle for their daily needs so they can govern without being questioned, leaving them helpless without mush support,” he said.
“This brings to my attention the state of Kawakawa, Caralevu, Nabekacu, Coquru and Delaikoro road which is off Waiqele Road, just two kilometres from Labasa Airport.
“With a population of more than 2000, this is the only long stretch of road approximately 18km that has not been tarsealed and regular maintenance is neglected. Fiji First had plans to upgrade this section of the road but COVID-19 hindered its progress.”
Mr Nand pleaded with Government to tarseal the road as deteriorating condition during rainy days created many challenges for commuters.
